Blood Work

As a Type I diabetic, I prick my finger a number of times each day to check my glucose levels regularly. I also keep a daily record book on these numbers. A drop of blood happened to land on a blank page in my book one day, which led to what some might consider a strange response: I decided to start doing some finger painting. Amazingly enough, figures began to emerge as I watched my extension casually trace its delivery of my life force across the page. Paintings...of life.
