Open Spaces
With the intense stress of the corporate world behind me, I felt the freedom and openness to create. Nothing in front of me and nothing behind me. I stood in an open space ready to create as if I were a child, finger painting for the first time.
India ink flows much like a river branching off into parts of the canvas with the freedom to go wherever it chooses - leaving the open space of the white canvas. The luminescent paint shimmers and interacts with the blackness of India ink, making each piece come to life.
